A pirate-themed roguelike game, in which you sail around, buy treasure maps, dig up treasure, and fight enemy ships and monsters.

Hi xenological,
I am a part of team called PortMaster, a non-commercial project where we try to bring modern games to Linux handhelds. 8-Bit BUCCANEER works well and fits these handhelds quite nicely. I would like to ask if you would consider allowing us to include the game on our PortMaster website? If not I will just instruct players to download the game here.

I loved the idea and game-play! It seems need a bit balance among our character and enemies because they are more powerful than me and I've died so quickly.
Really cool! I loved the maps and actually going around to the other islands, I just died a bunch. A save function would be neat!
